Curiosity Fairs: Cosponsored with the Cambridge Center for Adult Education and the City of Cambridge Office of Workforce Development, these annual events were held in the Fall of 2002 and 2003 at the Cambridge YWCA. We'll post a PDF about how to organize a curiosity fair in your city, town, or community this summer.

Celebrate Creativity: We held two of these evenings showcasing local talent from the Boston area. Both years we featured Deb Talan, as well as poets, writers, dancers, and performers in an effort to promote the importance of creative expression.

Curious About . . . Events: These were our first events held at the Cambridge Central Square Library. We asked a local expert to attend and give a short presentation on a topic of interest such as Jazz, Architecture, and Writing, and then had questions and answers.

Goal Groups: These groups meet once a week to help encourage members in meeting their individual goals. We've played a lot with the format for these groups and now we meet for about an hour, have six members, and keep things pretty loose. Other groups are strict with time allocations, etc. We suggest you find what works for your particular group.

Monthly Gatherings: We held these every month for a couple of years. First rotating to different people's homes and then rented space at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. The format was a potluck dinner followed by an open session where people shared a little about their interests, followed by a chance for people to connect around topics that we're raised.
